According to some rumors, the routes of the ships were given wrong, and some said that the materials and projects were loaded on the wrong ships, but then the train station project, which had to go to Egypt, went to Dalaman, and the hunting lodge project went to Egypt.
Some of the materials on ships coming to the bay of Sarsala Abbas Pasha's heat-resistant he brought from Egypt and Sudan workers on the back, heavier materials, oxcart, camels and donkeys were taken to a distance of about 12 kilometers. Even the workers who did not realize that the building was faulty according to the plan, built a ticket booth in front of the building and laid the rail.
When he came to Dalaman, the Khedive, who understood the mistake made, did not demolish the finished building, but removed the box and rails. In the following years, he built a mosque next to the station and until 1928 he was the property of the Khedive Abbas Hilmi Pasha.

After 1950, Dalaman became the State Production Farm. The building, which was used as a gendarmerie station since that date, was transferred to the State Production Farm in 1958. Since 1984, he has been working as the Manager of Dalaman Agricultural Enterprise under the roof of TIGEM.
