Bathhouses
Turks are a clean nation with historical nobility. After the conquest of Istanbul, thousands of baths were built in this city and all over the state, especially after the conquest of Islam. For example, in the seventeenth century, there were only 168 large baths in Istanbul.
Turkish baths and features:
Turkish baths are divided into three main parts. 1-Dressing places. 2- Bathrooms. Bathing places a) Coldness b) Hammam 3- Heating place: Külhan.
Dressing places: There is a large sofa and partitioned areas around it. People who bathe, rest in this way rest.
Bathing places: It is called bath part which is entered through coldness. This place is also some; divided into sections. "The place where each person called the Kurna is washed one by one, the washing cells which are closed and alone, called" halvet ", and the" belly stone "which lies on top of it, is the place where it can be made in a higher geometric shape than the marble covered floor of the bath.
Heating place
This place is under the hamamin. There fire burns. The flame and smoke coming out of the fire passes through the special roads under the marble floor and through the walls, it emerges from the chimney called "tüteklik".

The burning flames and fumes of the firewood burning in the hob go under the belly stone. This place is called "hell" because the dark place under this stone gets very hot.
Çarsı hamamları is open to women on certain days of the week and men on other days. "double baths" are two adjacent baths, one for women and the other for men. These baths are open daily.
